Giant rabbit, biggest ever
Friday, July 30th, 2010
It weighs 20kg and eats about GBP 80 worth of green groceries each month, but Ralph the rabbit from Uckfield, East Sussex in Great Britain is not your ordinary pet.
It’s owners have made headlines for the past six months as their “British Continental Giant” rabbit is constantly posing for cameras and television crews from all over the world. It is reportedly the world’s biggest rabbit after exceeding it’s own mother’s weight.
All the neighbors in the tiny village are sympathizers and reportedly contribute to their national hero’s healthy by donating vegetables and dry bread.
Owner Pauline Grant (73) claims the rabbit loves to munch on apples, biscuits, cabbages, carrots, rabbit food, sweetcorn, toast and of course weetabix.
