US Defense: Money for nothing, checks for free…

American tax-payers are freaked out after they heard that the US Defense Ministry claims that they have been ‘robbed’ of USD 8.65-bil for which the Pentagon can’t give account for.
Tax-payers said that they believe the Pentagon had reportedly laundered their money via shady deals during the reconstruction of Iraq, even promising countries like Hungary a slice of the pie, because it had sent peace-keeping troops to the troubled nation.
Well, the good news for American tax-payers is, that Hungary never received a dime of your money – that’s a fact.
A report by the US Special Inspector General for Iraq Reconstruction said that allegedly nothing had been spent by the US corporate giants and the Pentagon on reconstructing Iraq, as all the basic amenities, like water and electricity are still missing, even almost a decade after US forces dismissed Saddam Hussein, who was accused, but never proven of accumulating weapons of mass destruction.
