Britain’s BP in real Hot water

US senators have allegedly demanded Britain’s biggest company, British petroleum (BP) to hand over documents concerning their role in persuading the British government to the release infamous Lockerbie bomber Abdel Baset al-Alegrahi (spelling may vary, as he is also known as al-Megrahi).
They reportedly believe BP wanted to get favorable options for exploration and production (E&P) rights in Lybia. BP reportedly admitted that it had negotiated with the British Government on the fate of Alegrahi, and a possible prisoner exchange deal with Lybia.
BP is believed to have had certain phone calls including former James Bond, Sir Mark Allen, and former Justice Minister Jack Straw. After Alegrahi was returned to Lybia BP suddenly won lucrative E&P contracts to the alleged tune of USD 20-bil. The US senate has threatened to kick ass, in the form of a subpoena, if BP doesn’t provide the necessary documents.
Incompetent Labour Prime Minister Gordon Brown has reportedly lied to Britain about why he decided to allow Alegrahi to return to Lybia. The cancer-stricken terrorist was said to have only a few days left to live due to his deteriorating health. “Thank you very much for enquiring about Alegrahi’s health Mr. Brown. He is doing very well, I will pass on your regards to him, if I ever see him,” said a relative of one of the victims of Pan Am Flight 103 that was blown up above Lockerbie, Scotland by Alegrahi and his cronies.
British Prime Minister David Cameron has reportedly cursed the day his predecessor let the terrorist go scot-free, as it is causing his cabinet a major headache. (No John major is not part of the cabinet – that was another story – but his headache is).
